haidar’s birthday! : overdue gila part 2

OKAY, AS PROMISED! :) [warning:damn long]

haidar’s birthday was almost two months ago aka donkey days ago. but i need to blog it down so i’ll always remember it because it’s so so so happy and full of love! heh :) soooo, here goes!

11th march 2008 - that night, cik jai brought home a lot of boxes for us to wrap haidar’s main present. soooo ,that night, me, zoo and yani stayed up till wayyy after midnight to wrap the many presents from cik jai, zu and iqah, bro, ciksam and cikyah, mak andddd of course, yani and me.

me and yani were the most stress-est persons in the household that night because we haven’t even started on our present AT ALL. like KOSONG man. *faints* we could only start like at ten plusplus (that’s when haidar would be asleep-.-) so yeahhhh. like really so stress! all we had was one big frame (bought from ikea. thanks amina for accompanying me!) and many many photos waiting to be cut and arranged. hmm.

when we’re done with everything, called zu in to help with the wrappings because me and yani know nuts about wrapping. okay shutup seh, no need laugh at me. just because a thirteen year old can wrap better than me and i can’t :/

BUT that doesn’t mean i didn’t lend a hand! i came up with an idea to wrap too! but not neatly. soooo, this! had like four layers of old newspapers each wrapped over to the wrapped presents to make it more exciting. (which of course turned up to be more irritating for haidar! hahahahha!)

was quite high when i wrapped that’s why i had like alot of scotchtapes around it. -shrugs-

anddddddd next day came! 12 march!

12 march 2008-

since we slept quite late that night, i woke up the last as usual. quite standard ah. it’s not really a bad thing ‘cos i dont have to line up behind nine other pple to use the toilet because by the time i wake up, everyone bathed already :) SMART OR WHAT! and i can bathe as long as i want too hahhaha!

anyway, that’s not the point -.- i woke up and jengjengjeng, haidar the bathed bday boy is all up and fresh writing dont know what on a paper on my bed beside unbathed smelly sleeping me. sooooo, i started singing HAPPY BIRTHDAY SONG loudly hahhaha. felt quite high:)

but it lasted only for a few minutes because after i bathed, the highness just disappeared along with everything that i dispose at the toilet ifyouknowwhatimean.

throughout the day, i was complaining and complaining how this shouldnt be it! i really really feel like we should have a party! every kid deserve a party man! not that we ever had a party. usually the family tradition is it’s more of you know, a cake, food and presents. my idea of parties is like wow, decorations and goodie bags and so much fun hahahaha.

soooo jengjengjeng, i think zu got tired of me whining so when the clock strikes 5, i was still complaining to zu and she was like SET AH, LETS HAVE IT! wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! at this point, all my complains just went fullstop and suddenly the atmosphere is like oooolaaalaaaaaaaa! HAHHAHAHA. but really really, such a perfect plan.

iqah and haidar was leaving for their ngaji (class) at 5, so me and zu went down to send them and then we headed down to the nearest party shop in the HEAVY HEAVY HEAVY RAIN to buy the stuffs.

we bought balloons, and masks, and decorations! we had only one hour plus to prepare man.

i admit the decorations are quite retarded but its okay! hahhaa.

 

there wasnt really much things for us to hang the balloons to, so we resorted to this. -.-

the funny thing was that we only had five balloons left so it was quite inproportionate eh. i thought the right side was quite… naked. oh well.

 half an hour left!

okay fine, only two burst out la (both because of me:( ) one even burst on my face seh. and the rubberish balloon slapped my face! nyeh :/ nvmmmmm.

THE BEST BEST BEST thing about this bday was because, the adults were so sporting because they wore the masks too! :) (even though quite terbalik for some haha!)

hahhaha. i got cute uncle and aunties :) okay as you can see right, the door on the left is closed! this is where the surprise comes in!

the plan was cik yah to be incharge of opening the door and carrying out the surprise! all lights were supposed to be off-ed and everyone was supposed to hide and sing when bday boy comes in. buttttt,

* JENGJENGJENG* from experience,…… (does any of you remember the incident in january where ciksam got her bday day wrong? where we celebrated on 21st instead of 23rd? hhahaa) ,……

MY FAMILY KENTAL WHAT.

by the time haidar and iqah was outside the door, everyone was kanchiong-ing like mad quickly wearing masks and finding a spot to stand and what nots and sooo, cik yah kept going “can open already? can open already? am i supposed to on the light first or open the door first? can open already?” HHAHAHHAHA. it was so funny la.

turns outttt, we were soooo slow poke that haidar climbed over the window to see why the hell we were opening the door so slow. HAHHAHAHA. whatever happened after that onwards was damn retarded i wished i had recorded it on video :/

*HAIDAR PEEKING AT THE WINDOW AND OBSERVING THE “CAN OPEN ALREADY?” COMMOTION*

haidar shouting: OIIIIIIII! KORANG BUAT APE ARH! (OIII! WHAT YOU ALL DOING ARH!!!)

hahhahahahahha! it was so funny la. mak and zu who was standing near the window literally fell on the floor quite shocked and quite tickled by it. hahahha. then by the time we opened the door, we were more into laughing then singing the bday song. hahahhaa!

haidar was quite SHY cos he went straight into the room. CHEY.

after that was quite anticlimax cos we were waiting for paklong and family to come. so we took photos. okay they took photos.

you see, we had this big mahjong paper hanging on the wall because cik jai wanted to take DIY passport photo since he found out you can actually do it yourself as long as you have a white background,  a camera and crop the photo as how you want it. and soooo, everyone wants to try! haha.

obviously it wasn’t meant for iqah…. cos too short! hahahhaa.

but the last photo was sweet though cos they rushed for a family photo. hahaha cute :)

opening present time! the one you see in the photo above isnt all. the hamper is from cikyah’s friend. and the big box contained the present from the adults and zu and iqah. the yellow one is from bro. me and yani’s present wasn’t wrapped so it was the first! HEHHH (:

ohhhh, all of us made a super last minute card too. tell me it’s good! hhahaa. i just pasted this big photo of him as the cover and zu sponsored the stickers and yani was incharge of making sure everyone signed :)

and of courseeee, there’s the BIG MAIN PRESENT which was obviously the highlight of the birthday! red psp for haidar from his parents :):):):)

we made him opened all the presents except this last one. we hid the box in the room first. then when he finished opening all the presents there, his face was like damn damn sad. can see the “where’s my psp sia. nvm, i’ll just smile politely” written all over his forehead hahaha.

note how his face just brightened up in the video. we finally brought out the box after him opening his “last” presents.

he was seriously sad when he was opening the wrapped like mad with newspapers presents, but thennn, when dapat psp je, jengjegnjeng, muka bright up gila!

sooooo our haidar turns 7.

had so much fun planning with the girls :)
